Who’s Afraid of Senator Nwaoboshi?

There have been of recent desperate moves
particularly through media publications to
distract hardworking and vibrant senator
representing Delta North. Having gone through
some of these publications alleging this or that
against Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, my take is
that it all remains allegations yet to be proved
in any court of law.
Unfortunately some persons or groups, out of
their ignorance, rancor or the pull him down
syndrome, have already, on their own tried,
convicted and sentenced the senator
accordingly. But why? In our local parlance,
Peter Nwaoboshi
we say “there is God oooo”. To say the least,
the senator has been condemned unheard.
In any case, the reason(s) as far as I can see,
is not far-fetched as politics is already in the
air, more so when INEC has published the
2019 elections time-table. That is to say the
heat is on. Just like students preparing for
examinations, it is not bad for politicians to
start early preparations but care should be
taken to maintain decorum and play by the
rules. Thank God for the new Electoral Act that
has introduced system.
Another reason that I can deduce for the
gratuitous attack on the personality of
Nwaoboshi is the undisputed fact that the
credentials of this first time senator is rising by
the day beyond the imagination of his
detractors who are being intimidated by his
superlative performance at the hallowed
chamber.
My candid advice to our distinguished senator
is to use those bricks thrown at him to build
super structures for his people. Let him not be
discouraged but rather be inspired to serve the
people the more.
Further I urge the senator to remain focused
and continue to deliver the dividends of
democracy to the people of Delta North which
he has indeed been doing and still doing
through his various empowerment projects and
massive infrastructural developments among
others. The achievements are there to speak
for themselves.
The senator has been matching words with
action in line with his electoral promises.
It is worthy of note that Nwaoboshi’s
electoral victory was so convincing and
unchallenged not even by the political big wigs
that ran with him. To me, that was the result
of hard work, acceptance by the people and
God’s verdict.
The saying, “God’s case no appeal”, apt in this
case. Finally, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi is not a
saint but certainly not a devil. Assuming
without conceding that he is a devil, don’t you
think that the devil you know is better than the
angels you don’t know.
Finally, let’s give him a chance and rally round
him to succeed. It is not a partisan affair. It is
Delta North affair.
